Geometrinae - Emeralds
Comibaena connata GEOMETRINAE GEOMETRIDAE
This first moth is in the genus Comibaena, and I think the species is connata. It is also possible it is Comibaena mariae. The two are very similar and there are not a lot of reliable photos for positive identification. It appears that more C. mariae have been collected in the Brisbane region but my sample looks closer to C. connata.
Sub Family:- GEOMETRINAE
Genus:- Comibaena
Species:- connata
